Siweeci at CMEF 2026: What We Showed and What Overseas Dealers Asked For

April 9–12, 2026 · National Exhibition and Convention Center, Shanghai · Booth Hall 1.1, V11

CMEF — the China International Medical Equipment Fair — is the largest medical-device event in Asia, drawing 300,000+ healthcare professionals and 5,000+ exhibitors each spring. For a mobility manufacturer, it is the single best window into what global rehab and distribution buyers actually want. Here is a straight recap of what Siweeci brought to Booth Hall 1.1, V11 — and the questions overseas dealers kept asking.

Why this matters to dealers

If you source powered wheelchairs, scooters, or stair climbers for your market, the models below are the ones we are shipping today. The questions we heard tell you where demand — and margin — are moving.

What was on the booth

We showed the full Siweeci range, with live demos of our most export-ready models:

Model Type Key spec Why dealers ask for it
218 Electric wheelchair 17 kg, folds; 100 kg load; climbs >8° Lightweight daily use; easy transport
501 Electric wheelchair (carbon fiber) 11.6 kg (excl. battery); 24V 6.6–20 Ah (≈240–480 Wh); folds Ultra-light, long-range daily use
985S Mobility scooter 17.8 kg (excl. battery); 8/10/13 Ah lithium, dual-battery; folds Elderly independent mobility, extended range
G7 Stair climber 240–312 Wh; up to 200 kg load; climbs 1500–1800 steps Plus-size users most brands skip

Beyond the hero models, the booth covered our full catalog — powered wheelchairs, mobility scooters, manual chairs, stair climbers, walkers, and spare parts.

What overseas dealers actually asked for

The most repeated questions, in order:

  1. "Can the battery fly?" Airline compliance — the 300 Wh line — was the #1 question. We walked buyers through pack options and the paperwork airlines accept. If this is on your mind too, see our breakdown of the 300 Wh airline rule.
  2. Lighter and smaller. Nearly every buyer wanted easier car-trunk and air-travel handling. The 501 carbon-fiber chair (11.6 kg) and the folding 218 and 985S answered this directly.
  3. OEM / private label. Many wanted their own branding, custom colors, and market-specific configurations.
  4. Paperwork for their market. CE for Europe, FDA 510(k) pathways for the US, and UN 38.3 for battery transport. We support the documentation process deal by deal.
  5. Parts & after-sales. Reliable spare-parts supply and clear warranty terms.
The demand signal

Buyers were not asking "do you have a wheelchair?" They were asking "is it certified, is it light, will it fly, and can I put my name on it?" That is exactly the profile of a product that is ready to import.

Why it matters for your sourcing plan

Takeaways for dealers

The models shown are in production and export-ready — not prototypes.

We run OEM/ODM: branding, colors, configurations, and market documentation.

The underserved niche wins: a 200 kg stair climber and airline-compliant packs are where margin is least contested.

Our manufacturing & customization capability

Siweeci develops and manufactures its own mobility range, with in-house tooling and assembly. Our in-house testing follows the ISO 7176 series and EN 12184 for powered chairs, and we help dealers assemble the certification file their market requires — CE, FDA 510(k), and UN 38.3 for battery transport.
